Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Solvexors (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal information processed through the Solvexors platform. Contact: hello@solvexors.com.

2. What we collect

• Account data: name, email, username, password (hashed), role, tenant.
• Profile & resume data: education, work history, projects, skills, certifications, achievements, internships, uploaded resumes, video introductions.
• Application data: job descriptions you save, intake answers, tailored resumes, ATS scores, interview transcripts, assessment attempts.
• Usage data: route visits, device label, IP address, user agent (for security & product analytics).
• Payment data: if you subscribe, billing is handled by Stripe — we store only subscription status & identifiers, not card numbers.

3. How we use your data

• To provide and personalize the service (resume tailoring, interview practice, recommendations).
• To run AI features (see Section 4).
• To enable college/recruiter workflows when you join a tenant or apply to a posting.
• To secure your account (single-device session enforcement, abuse detection).
• To send transactional emails (auth, reminders, application updates).

4. AI processing

To generate tailored resumes, interview questions, scores, and recommendations, we send your resume, profile, and intake answers to AI providers (such as OpenAI and Google). These providers process the data on our behalf to return the result and do not use it to train their models when accessed through our enterprise APIs. AI output may be imperfect — please review before relying on it.

5. Sharing with colleges & recruiters

If you are part of a college tenant, your profile, resume, employability score, assessment attempts, and application activity may be visible to that college’s placement officers and admins. If you apply to a posting, the recruiter who posted it can view your application and resume snapshot. We do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Service providers

We share data with infrastructure vendors strictly to run the platform: hosting & database (Supabase / Cloudflare), email delivery, payments (Stripe), and AI providers as described above. They are bound by contracts limiting use of your data.

7. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records).

8. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Email hello@solvexors.com with your request. You can also unsubscribe from non-essential emails from the link in any email.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — TLS in transit, row-level security in the database, scoped service keys, and least-privilege access for staff. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong password and keep it private.

10. Children

Solvexors is not intended for users under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International transfers

Our servers and processors may be located outside India. By using Solvexors, you consent to your data being transferred and processed in those jurisdictions under equivalent protection.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
